A YouTuber recently uploaded a remastered 4K version of Rick Astley’s music video for his hit 1987 single “Never Gonna Give You Up” and people simply are getting very, very shook.
That’s right. You can now Rick Roll someone in creepy high definition.
Fair warning though. There is a very high likelihood that it will scar them for life. At least based on the reactions by people all over the internet, most of whom were completely freaked TF out by this bizarre change.

the fact that it's high quality, moves at 60 fps and looking really smooth scares me

You are so not ready for this.

Here's that 60 fps Rick Astley everyone's posting but with audio that isn't desynced so it's make it even more eerie. pic.twitter.com/76H5KK2UEy

Apparently this thing has been around since Jan. 31, but has only really gaining traction, making the rounds on the internet this week.

I don't want to be Rickrolled in 4K. It's just too real.

The YouTuber who uploaded this terrifying new version of the video, Revideo, says it was remastered using Topaz Video Enhance AI and RIFE (Flowframes). Whatever that means.

Our childhood just called and it wants us to stop doing things like this.
Here’s the original “Never Gonna Give You Up” music video if you want to compare. (And at this point, really, why wouldn’t you?)
