  • Lady Gaga and Salma Hayek both star in House of Gucci.
  • A scene featuring the pair kissing was ultimately cut from the film.
  • Nevertheless, Hayek has confirmed that Gaga is a “good kisser.”

Due to my half-a-decade long blood feud with its star Jared Leto, I’ve yet to actually see Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci. However, thanks to Salma Hayek, I may have a reason.

While the scene was ultimately cut from the movie, Lady Gaga has spent recent months describing a scene where her character Patrizia Reggiani kisses Salma Hayek’s character Giuseppina “Pina” Auriemma.

“We started making out – and I made out with Salma Hayek. I’m like that really, you know, annoying kid in school that’s like bragging that they made out with the popular girl, but has no proof,” Gaga said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Now, unless the deleted scene is included in the at-home features, we’ll unfortunately never get to see this moment between the Academy Award-winning Hayek and the Grammy-winning Gaga. We do know, however, that Hayek was definitely left impressed by the pair’s locking of lips and she recently told Variety that Gaga is a “good kisser.”

“OK, I have to say this: The day that Gaga kissed me was… but of course, I couldn’t say before because they took it out of the movie, but now that the cat’s out of the bag, I have to say it was pretty fun because it was completely unexpected and she’s a genius and a good kisser,” Hayek said.

In addition to Gaga and Hayek, House of Gucci boasts an extraordinary ensemble cast that includes the likes of Adam Driver and Academy Award winners Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, and Al Pacino. The film will be available on-demand beginning on February 22.
