Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, the recent Nickelodeon docuseries released by the ID channel, has sparked much backlash, controversy, and anger.

Among the many headlines generated by the doc so far are former Drake & Josh star Drake Bell saying he was a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of producer Brian Peck, while iCarly creator Dan Schneider was also accused of widespread abuse on set.

Armed with this new knowledge, the internet has gone back to look at some of the content produced by Nickelodeon, which now takes on an entirely new context following the allegations.

For example, videos of pop star Ariana Grande performing sexually suggestive acts such as sticking her finger down her throat and pouring water on herself while she lay upside down in a bed have gone viral in recent days.

Those videos of Grande aren’t the only bits of strange evidence that suggest something sinister was going on at Nickelodeon under Schneider’s watch, as internet sleuths have also dug up an incredibly bizarre tweet from the official Sam and Cat Twitter account that asks for its child viewers to submit pictures of their feet, colloquially known as “feet pics”.

Schneider is credited as the sole creator of Sam and Cat, which was a spinoff of his other series iCarly and Victorious, both of which he oversaw.

Perhaps more shockingly, the top reply to the tweet, which was written over a decade ago, links to the tweet to Schneider, saying “Foot? Really? This has to be Dan Schneider’s idea…”

Needless to say, the reaction to the Sam and Cat feet pics tweet has been one of shock and disgust.

“This man [Schneider] is so f—— sick in the head,” says one succinctly worded tweet.

At this time, Grande has yet to address the allegations made against Schneider publicly.
