SNL: ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Versus ‘Game Of Thrones’

Adam Sandler hosted Saturday Night Light this week, but before the Sand Man appeared, SNL’s cold open was a Family Feud between superheroes from Avengers: Endgame and characters from Game of Thrones. So who you got in the battle of Avengers: Endgame versus Game of Thrones?

Kenan Thompson returned to play Family Feud host Steve Harvey, “Steve of House Mustache.” In this game show, it pitted the families of two of the biggest entertainment properties of 2019. Each SNL castmember donned outfits from your favorite pop culture character such as Beck Bennett played Thanos, Alex Moffat as Thor, and Leslie Jones as Groot because “Bitch, I’m Groot.”

Kate McKinnon as Ser Brienne of Tarth, Cecily Strong as Melisandre, Kyle Mooney played Bran, and Melissa Villaseñor appeared as Arya Stark.

“Let’s start with the Avengers because this show is just like their movies. We’re gonna open with 45 minutes of introductions,” Steve Harvey said.

Then Harvey said, “I got to be honest, I didn’t see the last episode, I mean, I watched it but I couldn’t see it. Yeah, you know it’s dark when you can’t even see the white people.”
