Very few, if any, entertainment venues have ever captivated the world like the ‘Sphere’ in Las Vegas, and social media is trying to figure out which musical artist might next have residency. One particular theory has emerged. It could make a lot of sense!!

The Sphere, located at the Venetian Resort, first lit up its exosphere on the 4th of July and a giant glowing ball of LED lights immediately took over both Sin City and social media. It opened its doors for the first-ever event inside the Sphere with a U2 concert on the last weekend of September and POV videos from the first few nights were truly remarkable with visuals that will take your breath away.

Unfortunately, to attend an event at one of the world’s coolest venues commands record-setting parking prices, and charges frustratingly expensive prices for drinks upon entry. That doesn’t include the outrageous cost for a ticket to see a 50-minute film in the middle of the week, let alone a concert.

Once you get past the insane price tag, getting inside of the Sphere is worth every penny. Or so those who have gone have said.

The world’s largest LED screen, which is also equipped with a whopping 164,000 surround-sound speakers, creates an unbelievable setting for live music. It’s so cool that even Dana White wants in.

However, U2 is currently occupying the space until Dec. 16. At first, just a handful of dates were announced. Demand was so high that they later increased the amount of shows to 25.

That may not be all! According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the band is expected to extend its residency “at least into January.”

But then what? Rather, who?!

Who will play the ‘Sphere’ in Las Vegas after U2?!

The Sphere has yet to announce its future schedule. U2 will be the artist/band in residence for the foreseeable future.

From there, it is unclear as to who might take over. There is one theory!

Lady Gaga pulled up to the Sphere alongside Sydney Sweeney, Brad Pitt, Eddie Vedder and others at the beginning of October. She loved what she saw.

So much so that she made the Sphere’s official account her 85th follow on TikTok!

Gaga has had several Las Vegas residencies throughout her career, even as recently as August. The 37-year-old Grammy and Oscar winner has had one of the biggest, most dynamic careers in music history.

She can go big with ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Born This Way’

She scale it down with some classic crooner hits or ‘Shallow.’

Gaga can make her shows as flashy or as classy as she wants.

What better place to go huge, or bring a crowd of 18,600 into the palm of her hand than a place where the visuals and sound system around her tell a story? That would be the Sphere.

It is just a theory. There is no announcement. It is all speculation.

But… it sure makes a lot of sense!
