A couple of months ago, the world was lucky enough to get to relive the incredible saga that was Fyre Festival thanks to two competing documentaries from Netflix and Hulu chronicling the debacle that gave Woodstock ’99 and Altamont a run for their money.

While no one got stabbed to death by a Hells Angel during the ill-fated attempt at a music festival in the Bahamas, it was still a living hell for everyone in attendance in addition to the organizers who fell victim to the manipulative ways of Billy McFarland—including a caterer who was screwed out of her life savings and, of course, the fiercely loyal Andy King.

When everything was said and done, McFarland managed to screw investors and attendees out of a staggering $27.4 million, and after pleading guilty to the massive fraud, the Fyre Festival mastermind found himself sentenced to six years in prison for his troubles.

McFarland is currently serving his time at the Federal Correctional Institue in Otisville, New York, which just so happens to be the current home of Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, the Jersey Shore star who found himself in trouble with the IRS after forgetting taxes were a thing.

The Sitch is currently serving an eight-month stint, and by all accounts, he seems to be having a pretty good time considering the circumstances. I don’t know if the same can be said for McFarland, but if Vinny and Pauly D are to be believed, he’s made at least one friend on the inside.

The duo recently appeared on The Jenny McCarthy Show, where they provided some insight into how Sorrentino is spending his time while locked up.

According to Vinny, his buddy has access to an app that allows him to talk to people on the outside, and during one of their conversations, he learned The Situation and McFarland routinely play Scrabble together as well as with the guy who infamously flooded the internet with nude photos of celebrities a few years back.

What a world.
