Principal Drops Too Funny ‘U Can’t Touch This’ Parody To Remind Students Of Covid-19 Rules When School Opens

“Stop! Sanitize!”

Dr. Quentin Lee, principal of Childersburg High School in Alabama, found an amusing way to remind returning students of the new rules around the school to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The former band director put his musical background to use to write a parody of MC Hammer’s classic “U Can’t Touch This” focusing on the hygiene rules around school.

According to Alabama NewsCenter, Lee threw the song together in just 15 minutes and reached out to a local filmmaker and a few students to help with the video.

“Every time you see me, Dr. Lee is sanitized
I’m gonna keep my hands clean cuz cases are on the rise.
Now why would I ever stop doing this,
while others getting ill, I don’t wanna be sick.”

Dr. Lee has a history of posting humorous videos online to make his students laugh.

In April, he uploaded a video of himself playing the keyboard, telling students that “he hoped the song he wrote “touches your heart” and “lets you know how I’ve been feeling in this COVID pandemic.”

The song has no words, it’s just Dr. Lee screaming.

The “U Can’t Touch This” parody video has over 1 million views in just under a week.
