October was a very busy month around Loch Ness. Several new witnesses came forward claiming to have seen the Loch Ness Monster and a couple of them were even able to capture their sightings on video.

While only one of the sightings was deemed good enough to make the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register (which we previously discussed here), they were all good enough to be featured on the official Loch Ness Centre website.

“Devika shared a captivating video on the 25th of October 2023. With the boat in motion and the iPhone zoom pushed to the limit, what do you think Devika has spotted?” the Loch Ness Centre wrote about the following video.

“On the 27th of October 2023, Cynthia shared a video capturing Nessie’s bold moments. October seems to have been a month of thrilling sightings, and Cynthia’s contribution adds to the excitement,” the Centre said about this next video.

Another Loch Ness Monster sighting in the month of October happened to a man named John Howie.

Howie didn’t get video of the creature, but he did share a still photo with the Loch Ness Centre which they claimed could be the “clearest evidence” that Nessie is real. (The photo can be viewed here.)

“The Loch Ness Centre has recently reported a new sighting of Scotland’s beloved monster, which is possibly the clearest evidence this year of Nessie’s existence,” Loch Ness Centre General Manager Paul Nixon told the Mirror.

“Captured on Sunday 8th October at around 5pm, John Howie spotted something mysterious in the Loch, moving slowly towards the tree line before it disappeared and estimates it to be around 12-15 feet long!”

Nixon added, “At the Loch Ness Centre, we love hearing about these encounters with Nessie. It’s a phenomenon boasting over 1,000 eyewitness accounts and recorded sightings, alongside lots of unexplained evidence.”
