You feel that? That cold in the air? Notice how it gets dark really early in the day now? That’s winter and it sucks. Thank goodness we have so many good TV shows and movies available to stream online.

Speaking of things available to stream online, here’s what’s new for the month of January 2019 on HBO Go and HBO Now.

The new year brings new series including the latest season of True Detective starring Mahershala Ali and the season 3 premieres of Crashing, which draws on Pete Holmes’ own experiences as a comedian, and the critically acclaimed High Maintenance.

January also marks the premiere of the provocative feature-length drama Brexit starring Benedict Cumberbatch, which reveals the personalities, strategies and feuds of Britain’s Leave and Remain campaigns, as well as the new season of Real Time with Bill Maher. Insecure star Amanda Seales will debut her first HBO comedy special, Amanda Seales: I Be Knowin’, and the new documentary Breslin and Hamill: Deadline Artists spotlights newspaper icons Jimmy Breslin and Pete Hamill’s unique take on many of the historic events of the second half of the 20th century.

Theatrical premieres include Hollywood blockbusters such as Ocean’s 8 featuring an all-star cast including Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway, comedy Tag, Tully with Charlize Theron, Super Troopers 2, disaster film Geostorm and Down a Dark Hall. Beloved films such as Tim Burton’s Big Fish, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Pirate Radio and Sex & the City 2 arrive on HBO in the month along with films for the whole family including Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Shark Tale, and Ramona and Beezus starring Selena Gomez and Joey King.

Departing titles include Sandra Bullock films Practical Magic and The Blind Side, the terrifying sensation IT, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, as well as romantic flicks Under the Tuscan Sun, You’ve Got Mail and Bridget Jones’s Diary.
