Some celebrities, like Ryan Reynolds and Conor McGregor, get it. Some celebrities, like Evangeline Lilly and Dana White, don’t.

But that’s normal, crisis or no crisis.

One of the celebrities that appears to get it while everyone is being urged to stay at home and not spread you-know-what is Will Smith.

Smith, like many males of the species, has taken this time while on lockdown to do something that men with jobs rarely get to do: grow a unruly beard.

“Who else lettin’ their beard grow out?!” Smith asked his 43.5 million Instagram followers.

Smith, being 51-years-old, is also showing a little gray in his beard and some of his fans apparently can’t deal making comments on his social media accounts.

“I’ve been reading all the comments, and all y’all talking crazy about my beard,” Smith chided his fans in a new video. “Y’all talking about my beard. And I don’t know why y’all acting surprised. I’ve been rocking a beard forever.”

That’s when the video cuts to Smith rocking a full-grown gray beard in I, Robot, Men In Black, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Aladdin, and The Pursuit of Happyness (stick around for that one).

Smith isn’t the only one letting his gray flag fly. Kevin Hart is also doing it, using the hashtag #GreyHairDontCare.

Good stuff.
