Zach Wilson’s mom Lisa has been in and out of the news ever since she went viral on draft night in 2021 (and shortly thereafter made her Instagram private after saying “Snapchat is for wh-res”).

At times, her son hasn’t helped matters, especially when it was rumored that he cheated on his girlfriend when he hooked up with one of Lisa’s best friends.

Now, with Zach Wilson having completed his second season in the NFL after being the second overall pick in 2021, many wonder if his time is up in New York.

After all, in 22 starts Wilson now has a miserable career QB rating of 70.9 with just 15 touchdown passes and a well-below average 55.2 percent completion percentage. The Jets have also only gone 8-14 in those games in which he’s started.

Fans have good reason to wonder if Zach Wilson will be back, especially after Jets head coach Robert Saleh’s shocking damnation of his young quarterback.

In response to those questioning Wilson’s future with New York, last week, during an episode of The Michael Kay Show on ESPN Radio, the show’s host said that he was told by someone close to New York Jets ownership that Zach Wilson was definitely coming back next year. Kay added that one of the reasons why might have something to do with the close relationship the Wilson family has with Jets owner Woody Johnson.

Naturally, because she has rabbit ears when it comes to her 23-year-old son and is more than happy to publicly make her feelings known, Zach’s mom Lisa Wilson fired back on social media.

“These people are hilarious,” she wrote. “They know absolutely nothing.

“The one and only time we have ever talked to Woody was on a tour of the facility the day after the draft.”

Meanwhile, Zach Wilson, who was benched twice by Saleh at the end of the year and by the stats was the worst starting quarterback in the NFL over the past two seasons, still thinks he’s the man in New York.
