Dune: Part Two has become the pop culture event of the year (so far), as the film grossed a whopping $178.5 million at the global box office during its debut weekend, while also inspiring tons of memes and jokes across the internet.

One of the latest pieces of viral content from the Dune: Part Two marketing tour is a video of lead actors Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya approaching a woman in a movie theater hallway before taking her popcorn and guiding her into a theater.

The video, which largely lacks any further context, has left Dune fans on Twitter scratching their heads.

Tons of the jokes on social media have also been centered around the fact that the video has a very “My wife and I saw you from across the bar and really dig your vibe” essence.

The commercial is apparently an ad for the Mexican theater chain Cinépolis, which is the largest theater chain in Latin America in addition to being one of the biggest in the world. Cinépolis theaters can also be found in the United States.

This isn’t the first time that Cinépolis has made this sort of commercial. In fact, it appears to be a go-to marketing tactic that they use.

Alongside Chalamet and Zendaya, Dune: Part Two also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgard, Josh Brolin, Christopher Walker, Lea Seydoux, and more.

In addition to its box office success, Dune: Part Two has also been a massive critical hit as it’s become the highest-rated movie in the history of IMDB.
