Over the past forty-eight hours, Amber Heard has filed a report (and restraining order) stating she suffered physical abuse from Johnny Depp. She even posted a picture of her with a bruised face:

It is now coming out from the Los Angeles police that when they arrived at the married couple’s home, they saw no sign of injuries. Sgt. Marion Marrache gave specifics regarding that night:
On May 21, 2016, officers responded to a domestic incident radio call… The person reporting the crime (Heard) did not insist on a report and no report was warranted. There was no evidence of any crime. A crime did not occur so the officers left the scene and left a business card.
On top of everything, Depp’s lawyer, Laura Wasser is claming “Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.”
Bottom line, this is a mess. And now, with both the Los Angeles police and Johnny Depp’s lawyer weighing in, things seem to be ramping up with what’s to come in the future.
