It Turns Out Ryan Reynolds Pulled A Massive Bro Move During ‘Deadpool’

So it turns out that Ryan Reynolds is way more of a bro than we could ever have imagined. Yes, if you recall from viciously successful ‘Deadpool’ movie Wade Wilson at one point sports a tee with Bea Arthur’s image (one of the iconic ‘Golden Girls’); this was an outright act of respect towards the creator of the ‘Deadpool’ comics Fabian Nicieza who was a huge fan of Arthur who passed away in 2009.

So, when it came time to roll the camera, Reynolds managed to hat tip the comic creator and Arthur herself by personally reaching out to Arthur’s family for permission to use her image in the movie.

Arthur’s son, Daniel Saks told the Hollywood Reporter:

“I was on Dharma & Greg on Stage 21 at Fox when Ryan was on Stage 20 doing Two Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place. He was always a nice guy, and the fact that it was him gave it more weight with me and my brother, Matthew. We thought, ‘Why not?’”

All in all, massive bro move by Reynolds to pay forth respects well deserved to the creator of what’s honestly the most enjoyable reimagined for the big screen comic book series since, well, ever.
