Confirming what we already pretty much knew, Katy Perry hit Twitter and appeared in a new commercial last night to promote the fact that she will indeed be the headline performer for the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show.
My band is in the other room screaming at the TV (and each other) over this Cowboys-Giants game. Can’t wait for February 1st… 🎤🏈

Below is the promo I mentioned in which Perry talks about how “crazy” the halftime is going to be, which of course it won’t be because NFL.
However, that doesn’t stop Perry from saying things like, “I’ve got some insane ideas. Like what if we covered the whole stadium in glitter, but the glitter was edible?” and showing us her unicorns, fire-breathing sharks and other “wacky” things, all of which she says don’t “feel dangerous enough.”
