Keanu Reeves has always been one of the coolest dudes in Hollywood. From way back in 1986 when he appeared in Youngblood (check it out sometime) and River’s Edge (also great) to, of course, 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Point Break, Reeves has always been the coolest bro in the room.
And yet, over 30 years later, he has somehow managed to become even cooler. And I am not just talking about the fact that right now he is the hottest action star on the planet (at age 52!) because of his epic portrayal of John Wick. I mean away from Hollywood. Bro not only is a complete gentleman, he is philanthropic as fuck, once saying, “Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries.”
Reeves is also no stranger to being fodder for some of the best memes ever created.
There’s Sad Keanu…
Happy Keanu…
Whoa Keanu…
As well as several others including Conspiracy Keanu, Vampire Keanu, and of course, the Keanu Reeves Is Immortal meme. You know, because bro never ages.
So during his recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon thought it would be fun for them to check out some of Reeves’ doppelgängers found on the “Keanu Reeves Is Immortal” web site.
As usual, Reeves was awesome and even shared a story of how when he first got to Hollywood they wanted to change his name. Turns out he was almost Chuck Spadina. That’s right. For some reason I am not quite feeling Chuck Spadina as John Wick. Thank goodness he didn’t do it.
