A man by the name of Zach Ace (that’s his YouTube channel above) spent his weekend chopping up scenes from Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix and turning it into the opening credits from Family Matters, one of the most iconic T.G.I.F. shows from the 1990’s.
This dude hit a viral home run with ‘Luke Cage: Family Matters’ and is well on his way to a million views after just a few days. And it seems like people are loving this video because it combines one of the most nostalgic shows from our childhoods with Luke Cage, a show that’s currently occupying the #1 spot on IMDB’s ‘Most Popular TV Series’ list, ahead of American Horror Story, This Is Us, and The Walking Dead.
After the initial popularity of his Luke Cage: Family Matters video Zach Ace dropped a new one yesterday, a side-by-side look at the two credits/trailers together, and it’s mind boggling that he was able to get the footage so matched up:
