Here’s Pitbull Doing A Cover Of A Guns N Roses On The Weekend They Reunited, Because Nothing Is Sacred

This past weekend Gun N Roses put aside their differences and reunited at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. It’s the first time in 23 years Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan took the stage together and widely celebrated in music circles as history occasion for rock ‘n roll.

You know who was the most pumped about it?

Pitbull.

I was in Houston this past weekend for the Final Four. On Sunday afternoon, the NCAA’s title sponsors threw a free one-day music festival in Downtown Houston’s Discovery Green to give fans something to do between the Final Four on Saturday and tonight’s Championship game. It’s a nice experience for the residents of the host city, with an estimated attendance of about 40,000. Many Houstonians brought families. Some were there to day drink with their Bros outside on a perfect 75 degree day. Here’s the line up.

I had to check it out, because what’s the point in living life without experiencing Mr. Worldwide’s signature wiggle in the flesh? I couldn’t stop laughing at how many covers he integrates into his show, including ones from rock legends like Nirvana and, yes, Guns N Roses.

Anyway, I don’t know if he always covers “Sweet Child Of Mine” live or if it was simply a nice nod to Gun N Roses reuniting this weekend, but the world needs to know that it happened.

Love him or hate him for this, you can’t deny the force of nature that is Pitbull. The man is an industry.
