Fallon Debuts The New Nintendo Switch Gaming System In Front Of Shigeru Miyamoto, Creator Of ‘Zelda’ And ‘Mario’

Shigeru Miyamoto is arguably the most important person in the history of the video game industry. Since joining Nintendo back in 1977 he’s been credited with creating some of the most beloved video game franchises every built, including but not limited to Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, and even the Nintendo Wii. Well, he was on Fallon last night to play with The Roots and watch Jimmy debut the all new Nintendo Switch gaming system.

Shigeru Miyamoto‘s appearance on Fallon was accompanied by President of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aimé debuting the all-new Nintendo Switch gaming system by showing Jimmy how to play The Legend of Zelda in front of Zelda’s creator, Shigeru Miyamoto:

Though, it’s not like having $40 million in the bank is something to scoff at. He’s still seen unimaginable success throughout his lifetime.

Anyways, last night he was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he sat in with Questlove and The Roots band to play the Super Mario Bros. theme song, a performance which has sent nerdgasms all throughout the gaming community:
