Here’s how I typically finish every workout – after about 45-50 minutes of free weights and machines, I hop on a treadmill or elliptical, immediately feel tired, bored, hungry (or all three) and go home.

If you’re like me (and for your sake, I hope not) you typically attempt a short cardio session after working with weights.

But instead of half-assing it on a row machine or paying way to much attention to the bullshit “fat burning zone” on treadmills, try this 3-minute intense cardio circuit from V Shred.

The exercises are simple to execute and remember, and not that hard to do, but the key is going for the full 3-minutes without stopping.

Here’s the exact routine:

  • High Knees (5 Reps)
  • Jump Squats (5 Reps)
  • Mountain Climbers (5 Reps)
  • Situps (5 Reps)
  • Mountain Climbers (5 Reps)
  • Jump Squats (5 Reps)
  • High Knees (5 Reps)

The routine mixes in many different movements that will work the entire body and you’ll be absolutely gassed by the end, as the demonstration proves.
