Zac Efron hosts a YouTube show called “Gym Time.”
I was unaware of this fact up until this morning. All it took to bring the show to my attention is Zac inviting four Victoria’s Secret supermodels to workout, play basketball, and get sweaty during circuit training.
Well, Zac, you talented son-of-a-bitch, you’ve got my attention.
In this episode, Efron is still recovering from surgery after an unfortunate ACL tear but still get his ass moving along with the Angels – Jasmine Tookes, Sara Sampaio, Josephine Skriver and Kelsey Merritt – with a goal of working numerous muscle groups for short bursts.
Efron’s “Gym Time” guests aren’t always hot models. Sometimes they’re just hot actresses, like Nina Dobrev, and occasionally NFL stars like Marcedes Lewis.
Maybe Efron’s injury is thanks to his workouts that he warns people to never really try at home even though he does get shredded as hell with an impressive 8-pack.
Efron and the ladies rotate through two circuits led by trainer John Gaines. The circuits are designed to “get a lot of work done in a short amount of time.”
The workout includes elevated crunches, skier rows, pull up rows and more high impact, high-intensity moves. It’s an intense routine that everyone should try the next time they’re looking to shake up their boring workout.
Efron did it all in an ankle-to-thigh knee brace but I’m assuming being surrounded by four gorgeous women is motivation to do just about anything.
“Zac, did your leg fall off?”
“Nope, it’s just a flesh wound. I’m fine ladies. And those aren’t tears, my eyeballs are just sweating.
