What’s up, BroBible? You might notice that my weekly ‘Things We Want‘ gear guide for men got a makeover this week. The new look design is meant to fit more with the style of my daily Everyday Carry Essentials features.
In this new format, I’ll be featuring a handful of standalone items interspersed throughout grids of items that caught my attention throughout the week. Not only will this cut down on load time of the page and make the user experience run better, but it will also allow me to feature more items each week that we all simply must have. As always, if you know of a product that you think should be featured in my weekly Gear Guide then feel free to hit me up via email at email@example.com.
Ulysse Nardin Freak NeXt
The Ulysse Nardin Freak NeXt is one of the most stunning watch releases of 2019 (so far). We’re just a few days away from Baselworld 2019 and things are already heating up in terms of releases.
This stunning watch features a 70-hour power reserve and the balance includes 32 silicon blade springs which form 16 triangles in four separate layers all with a 12Hz frequence. The Super-LumiNova gives the Freak NeXt an incredible look at night:
Toying with the limits of the physics of materials, the new Freak neXt flying oscillator presents an entirely innovative 3D design. Based on flexible mechanisms using the elasticity of silicium blades, a principle that is truly mastered by Ulysse Nardin, this oscillating regulating device does away with the central pivot, its center literally suspended in mid-air. The central idea of this regulating organ is to totally eliminate the axis of the balance wheel in order to create a virtual pivot point. This is a radical development that hugely improves the traditional principle of balance spring regulation introduced in the 17th century. The neXt flying oscillator, with its 3D multi-layer construction – four layers of blades and a solid layer that serves as a flywheel – is a highly significant technological development for watchmaking research.
I don’t know about you bros but whenI heard terms like those (above) being thrown around I assume something’s going to cost a large fortune. It’s uncearl how much the Freak NeXt will cost but I have to assume it’ll be more than my car. For more details you can follow the link below.
25 Years of Predator Pack by Adidas Soccer
This week Adidas Soccer announced the ’25 Years of Predator Pack’ which is inspired by iconic worldwide superstars David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane. These archive packs are available now (released on March 7th) and the all-new Predator 19+ boot range will be available on March 12th.
Zinedine Zidane’s ’98 Accelerators have been brought back and given an updated look which pays homage to his Ballon d’Or winning year of 1998. These come with four sets of colored laces (gold, navy, white, and red). The David Beckham archive pack features an updated version of his 2001 Predator Precision boot (there’s also a trainer/sneaker) with an all-white K-leather upper and his iconic red tongue as well as two sets of laces (white and red).
These archive packs don’t stop at the boots, they also include a jersey, shirt, and pant which all pay homage to the Real Madrid 2003/2004 squad which Zidane and Beckham both played for. Then there’s the new Predator 19+ which these soccer titans co-created, that will drop on March 12th and comes in a gold colorway. Mark your calendars!
Birddogs Gym Shorts
I’ve been wearing Birddogs Gym Shorts for several years now and if you’ve ever engaged me in conversation in person about workout clothes then there’sa 99.99% chance I tried to tell you how f’n amazing they are. They have a built-in compression liner so there’s no need to dirty up boxer briefs, they feature a wallet pouch and a phone pouch (with zipper), and they’re unbelievably comfortable.
If I had to point out one fault it’s that the hottest styles often fly off the shelves. They release a bunch of awesome limited-edition designs and you should check those out and scoop them if you’re interested or risk someone else buying that pair first!

The Magnetie Is A Complete Game Changer
If you’re looking for the next big thing, you don’t have to look any further than The Magnetie, a recently-launched Kickstarter that’s aiming to turn the accessory game on its head.
It’s also unlike anything I’ve come across because it’s actually two ties in one—each reversible Magnetie features a couple of stylish patterns dreamed up by a former Nike designer that gives you a ton of versatility when you’re trying to figure out what to pair with your outfit.
Koenigsegg Jesko, the World’s First 300 MPH Car
This beast of a car is packing ‘5.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1280hp on standard gasoline and 1600hp on E85 biofuel’ along with Koenigsegg’s new 9-speed Light Speed Transmission (LST). It has redesigned carbon fiber chassis which has allowed for additional legroom and headroom for the driver.
The 5-liter V8 with 1280 horsepower will push this car past the 300 MPH mark but if those numbers sound familiar it’s because they’re almost identical to the Hennessey Venom F5. The difference maker here is weight and displacement. The Jesko weighs ~11 pounds less than Koenigsegg’s previous model (Agera) and has the ‘world’s lightest production V8 crankshaft’, this was enough to break the barrier of the world’s first 300 MPH supercar.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire — Most Expensive New Car Ever
Bugatti has just set a record for the most expensive new car ever built. The one-off Bugatti La Voiture Noire has an astronomical price tag of $12.5 billion. Cars have sold for more than that in the past but those were collector’s cars, old cars, never a brand new one.
This supercar boasts 1,500 horsepower and looks like a cross between Darth Vader’s private spaceship and a stealth bomber. The blacked out look gives it an absolutely menacing feel and one that is probably well worth $12.5 million if you’ve got a billion dollars in the bank.
PackMack #100FZ Rain Jacket
The PackMack #100FZ Jacket comes in three bold colors: Omaha Orange, Forest Green, and Midnight Oil. It carries an incredibly impressive waterproof rating of 15,000 mm which means you’ll stay dry in the wettest of conditions.
This jacket is ultra light and only weighs 300 grams which is the same as a cup of instant noodles. You can easily pack this jacket up and toss it in your daypack/backpack or tie it around your waist and forget about it because it’s truly that light. It all packs down into an interior pocket which makes stowing it away super easy.

World’s First Flying Motorcycle
THE SPEEDER purports to be the world’s first flying motorcycle. The company claims their flying motorbike can get up to a roaring 150MPH which is a hell of a lot faster than the Hoverbike S3 MAV which was announced a few years ago and claims to top out at 65MPH.
THE SPEEDER is powered by four ‘turbojet engines’ which are powered by a self-stabilizing fly-by-wire control system. Riders will be able to get up to 20 minutes of flight time depending on the weight of the rider, and it runs on diesel or kerosene fuel. It’ll cost you $380,000 but it’s available for pre-order now.
