The MLS All-Star Game is coming up a week from tomorrow at Atlanta United’s Mercedez Benz Stadium. Unlike other major sports leagues where one half faces off against the other, in this game, the MLS All Stars will take on Juventus in town from Turin who won their 34th Serie A league title last season.
If you follow the MLS then you already know how much of a cultural phenomenon Atlanta United has become in a very short period of time. It’s one of if not THE HOTTEST tickets in Atlanta. Atlanta United pulled in over 71,000 fans for an MLS game on June 30th…The hype is real and now they’ll be hosting the 2018 MLS All Star Game.

In anticipation of this game, Adidas has worked with local Atlanta residents to create a sneaker specifically for this game. The resulting shoe is an extension of their stellar AM4 range, and this one’s being called the AM4MLS. It was designed by Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid (best known for ‘New Freezer’ and ‘Plug Walk’), Atlanta United midfielder Darlington Nagbe, and Travis Love.

The black and red colorway with gold flecks is inspired by Love’s art covers, and the heart symbol is supposed to represent the ‘pulse of the city.’ The shoe has an embedded NFC chip in it that enables access to an exclusive Spotify playlist curated by Rich the Kid.
The shoe will be available *in Atlanta* at the Wish boutique on Saturday, July 28th and it’ll be available for pre-order for everyone on Adidas.com on Sunday, July 29.
