Gaze upon this pulchritudinous vessel and imagine throwing the dopest boat parties on this exquisite superyacht. You’re looking at the Carat 187 Superyacht created by design company Technicon. This ultra-luxe floating house party was developed to have grand galas at sea with its innovative “split personality” design and “red carpet” entrance.

Technicon’s 187-foot vessel is only a concept at this point, but that doesn’t take away how much you’ll crave one of these superyachts. The Carat 187 Superyacht boasts two swimming pools because a superyacht with only one swimming pool is for the poors. There is also plenty of deck space for swanky parties on the open sea, an outdoor dining space, and a huge couch/bed for when you need to nap after partying too hard.

Technicon set out on “breaking the norms in superyacht design” and they have achieved just that. The most notable feature on this floating luxury yacht is the two sweeping staircases in the rear of the ship where smaller boats can deliver super elite guests. Distinguished guest are welcomed onto the ship by walking onto a red carpet “like a movie star with a more reserved private life.” This is the perfect vessel for Hollywood elites partying at the Cannes Film Festival.

“In our work across various domains of transport design, my team and I have developed a real understanding of the needs of a very particular client profile associated to our projects in private aviation, supercar design, and luxury retail,” said Gareth Davies, European design director at spoke about the concept. “So, it was a very natural progression for us to apply this understanding, along with our core skill set in creative design, to a superyacht project.”

“The goal of this project was to create something unique and [totally] different from the current yachting design language,” explains Paul Martinez from Technicon, who designed the Carat 187’s exterior. “We wanted something atypical, exaggerated, and ultra-luxurious.”

No official pricing has been announced on the yacht that “displays an impressive silhouette on the water,” but expect this beauty to cost more than $100 million. Better start saving.
