Fall is upon us, which means the leaves will be changing and the temperature will be dropping day by day. You can spend your time apple-picking and camping if you’re inclined to the outdoors. Or, you can have yourself a lazy weekend on the couch curled up with a blanket, a hot cup of cocoa, and a plethora of great movies to binge free on Plex.
Here are some of my personal picks that come off Plex this month, so you won’t want to miss them:
You can draw a straight line from the golden age of ’80s teen movies to this gem. With standout performances from Logan Lerman and Emma Watson shortly after she wrapped up Harry Potter, this one will make you feel all the feels of your dormant teenage angst. Also, who wouldn’t have loved having Paul Rudd as an English teacher in high school?
I don’t love a ton of romcoms from the 2000s, but this one is a guilty pleasure. Coming on the heels of Kill Bill, Uma Thurman was so hot in the streets that I would have seen her in just about anything. I’m not totally convinced that she doesn’t actually have superpowers in real life.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if Jason Statham is kicking ass and taking names in a movie, I’m sold. This was the final installment of the Transporter franchise, which frankly makes me very sad. Who wouldn’t want to see Frank Martin behind the wheel of a car one more time?
While you’re enjoying these flicks before they’re gone, be sure to check out some of our other favorites that are still available on Plex:
A must-watch in every college dorm for 20+ years now. I don’t always like to classify certain movies as “dude” movies because anyone can enjoy a great film. However, I always hold a special place in my heart for movies that I’ve watched over and over again with my buddies. The Boondock Saints is one of those flicks.
You might have seen the 2011 version with Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, but wait until you see the original Swedish film with Noomi Rapace (of Sherlock Holmes and Prometheus fame). There’s a reason that this adaptation of the popular book series has become an international phenomenon.
Thanks to Plex, you can watch these and other great movies free from almost any device (Apple, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire, and more).
Plus, Plex has an incredible library of movies and TV shows, including Saturday morning staples. Get started at the link below!
