Indian Motorcycle Unveils 2018 Scout Bobber That Looks Like A Badass Bike

Indian Motorcycle has revealed their 2018 Scout Bobber and it looks sick. This stripped-down, low-slung bike is ready to devour the pavement in a “less is more” philosophy. The latest model in Indian Motorcycle’s iconic Scout lineup is muscular with a nod to the motorcycles of the 1940s, yet perfect for the modern-day minimalist rider.

The Scout Bobber features chopped fenders, knobby tires, tracker handlebars, a slammed stance, and two-tone genuine leather bobber seat (But a passenger seat can be added as an accessory item). The rear LED lights have integrated stop, turn, and tail signals for an even more minimalized look.

The “no frills” approach to this bike stops when it comes to the ride. This roadbeast offers increased comfort and precision thanks to the tracker handlebars and pegs moved 1.5” closer to the rider for a more aggressive riding position. The vehicle’s low-slung profile and 1” lowered rear suspension “delivers unfiltered feedback” while blazing through traffic. This badass bike is powered by an American V-Twin engine with 100 horsepower.

“The Scout Bobber is our most raw and mean machine to date, and the ultimate in the celebration of what motorcycling is about – a powerful engine, two wheels, and no plans of where to go,” said Reid Wilson, Marketing Director of Indian Motorcycle. “It’s an incredibly fun motorcycle that delivers a ton of attitude, along with a ton of power.”

The Scout Bobber comes in five colors, including Star Silver Smoke, Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red, and Thunder Black Smoke. The 2018 Scout Bobber comes blacked-out with black gauge face on the instrument panel, black headlight nacelle, black handlebars, blacked-out wheels, and dark exhaust pipes.

Indian Motorcycle’s new Scout Bobber will be available this September with prices starting from $11,499.
