How was everyone’s weekend? For the basketball and hockey fans out there, I hope you’re enjoying watching your team kick off a playoff run. I’m a Bucks fan who also doesn’t care about hockey, so naturally, baseball has my entire attention. Thankfully, my Yanks just finished sweeping the Royals and are hopefully back on track. Just don’t ask my mom about whatever’s happening with the Mets. There’s a reason that the Air Force 1 has stood the test of time in the sneaker game for over 40 years: they’re timeless. When you hear the name, you probably picture the shoe before you think of the President’s plane (or you think of the excellent Harrison Ford flick).
This ’07 re-release really speaks to me personally, as I was 14 years old that year and was in awe of all my friends who had these kicks. Now, I’m a grown man with a salary rather than a teenager with an allowance who’s thrilled to get these at this price.
