Things We Want: TaylorMade Just Dropped A Retro Apparel Collection With The 1985 Logo

TaylorMade 1985 collection

It’s been a week, and frankly, I am tired. You don’t come here to listen to me complain, but Vegas, man… Vegas does it to you. I just got back from having the maximum amount of fun humanly possible during the first three shows of Phish’s 2026 run at the Sphere.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw the absolute sensory overload I was sharing. Look, I get it: Phish is polarizing. It is an acquired taste, and I would never try to force it upon anybody. I actually have a lot of self-consciousness about my weird, eclectic tastes, but I just love the spectacle of Phish being Phish. The creativity that goes into these absurdly weird visuals—rooted in decades of band lore—is just outrageously funny and fun. And the Sphere itself? Hearing live music in that room is mind-boggling. The sound system is so advanced, and they have haptic seats so that when Mike Gordon plays a note on the bass, your chair literally shakes. It was just a wildly fun weekend locked in with a great crew, hanging with my brother, and celebrating my fiancée’s birthday.

The Tweezer with the dentist visuals was particularly… intense. See below. Seriously, don’t miss a show at the Sphere if you!

Outside the shows, the highlight of Vegas was the food I had one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time at Gymkhana, the Michelin-star Indian restaurant that just opened in the Aria. We did a variation of the tasting menu, and the flavors were mind-blowing: pork cheek vindaloo, an insane lamb shank, beetroot sliders, and tiger prawns. It’s one of those meals you’re going to think about for years. Later in the weekend, we had to hit up a Vegas classic: Lotus of Siam. I literally dream of their crispy duck. We ordered that and some noodles delivered straight to our condo, and it was flawless. We even managed to squeeze in a lunch trip to Texas Roadhouse, because balance is key.

Between the massive meals and clocking 20,000 steps a day, we didn’t do much after the shows. I’m not a big after-party guy anymore…. my brain was fully melted from the sensory overload, so we skipped Eggy at the Brooklyn Bowl, did some light gambling (with absolutely zero luck, the story of my life), and called it a night.

I got back on Sunday absolutely zonked, only to realize the temporary filling in my tooth had fallen out somewhere in the desert. I finally got that fixed this week, so this saga is hopefully over, and I am fully prepared to lay in bed for 10 hours this weekend and try my hardest not to bed-rot.

I don’t really want for much right now, besides some time on the couch to watch that new Zach Galifianakis Netflix gardening show or maybe catching a movie.

Next week, I’m heading out to Lake Havasu to take a Sea-Doo up the Colorado River to Needles with my DJI Osmo camera, which is going to be epic. Later in May, a springtime trip to Zion National Park with the family. Which reminds me, what hiking shoes should I get for it?

I can’t wait.

Alright, enough rambling from me. Let’s get to the gear.

Here is this week’s Things We Want…

TaylorMade ’85 Heritage Capsule

Golf apparel has been leaning hard into the retro aesthetic lately, and I am here for it. TaylorMade just stepped it up big time with a new capsule collection. Digging into the archives to bring back their iconic 1985 logo (great year!), the new capsule features absolute heat like the Field Rugby 85 and the First Light 85 Crew. It’s a handsome blend of vintage athletic appeal and modern comfort, making these instant-add layers for crisp morning tee times or crushing pints at the 19th hole. Duke Cannon x Jeep

via Duke Cannon

As a proud Jeep Grand Cherokee owner since 2018, I feel like this collaboration was made specifically for me. Duke Cannon and Jeep just dropped a limited-edition grooming collection to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Built for guys who appreciate off-road exploration, the collection features two distinct scents—”American Legend” (Virginia Cedar & Freedom) and “Trail Rated” (Mountain Pine & Adventure)—available as both a body wash and one of their legendary Bricks of Soap. Best of all, it ties into Duke Cannon’s Veteran Fund to support veteran reintegration. The American Legend scent is available now, with Trail Rated dropping in mid-May.

Camp Snap Camera

via Camp Snap

My brother got one of these cameras a few years ago and he loves it. If you’re tired of the “everything is content” grind, this is the perfect palate cleanser. It’s a screen-free digital camera designed to mimic the delayed gratification of a disposable Kodak, without the environmental waste. No screen, no notifications. You just point, click, and stay present. It’s ruggedly built, holds 2,000 photos, and gets 500 shots per charge. At $69.95 via Camp Snap’s website, it’s a low-stakes investment in being more human. Snag one in their new Summer Colors (like Neon Yellow or Electric Teal) over at their website.

Tecovas ‘The Mateo’ Huarache

via Tecovas

Last year, here on BroBible, I declared that it’s time to graduate from flip-flops and sad canvas slip-ons that smell like a frat house. This summer it’s time to get serious about that commitment.

If you need a sock-optional summer shoe with a little more Western soul, the Tecovas Mateo is the move. Handcrafted in León, Mexico, these classic huaraches feature handwoven leather, a cushioned footbed, and a hybrid outsole that’s built to roam. Whether you’re strolling through a beach town or heading to a backyard beer pong rematch, they pack light and wear easy. Grab a pair in Caramel Roughout or Butterscotch for $195 via Tecovas and upgrade your warm-weather rotation.

The Cab’s New Album, Chasing Crowns

If your formative years were spent screaming along to pop-punk anthems in a mall parking lot, good news: Vegas-born quintet The Cab is officially back. After a 15-year hiatus, they’re dropping their third studio album, Chasing Crowns, this Friday, April 24th. It’s packed with the arena-ready hooks and 2000s nostalgia you crave, but with a grown-up, refined edge. Give the new focus track “ih8urgutz” a spin and keep an eye out for their 24-date Back From The Dead headlining tour kicking off in May.

Noah Kahan’s New Album, The Great Divide

If you’re still emotionally recovering from the absolute chokehold Stick Season has had on the world for the last couple of years, it’s time to brace yourself. Noah Kahan is officially dropping his highly anticipated fourth studio album, The Great Divide, this Friday, April 24th. Speaking to Apple Music about the vibe of the project, Kahan noted: “I describe this album as like I’m in the shower and I’m half yelling at the showerhead and pretending it’s whoever I want to talk to and taking responsibility or throwing blame, like those conversations that you wish you could have with people but have never been able to.” Co-produced with Aaron Dessner (of The National), this 17-track project dives deep into the growing pains of massive success and the disconnect from his beloved Vermont roots. Fire up the title track and prepare to be deeply in your feelings all weekend.

Santa Fe Stoneworks Mammoth Tusk + Turquoise Damascus Knife

It’s been a minute since we included a solid everyday carry knife, and this one from Santa Fe Stoneworks is an absolute stunner. They took a 3-inch Damascus steel blade—forged from 110 layers of high-strength steel—and paired it with a handle made from genuine prehistoric white woolly mammoth tusk and turquoise accents. Complete with a titanium bolster, it’s not just a reliable EDC; it’s a functional work of art and the ultimate conversation starter that puts a literal piece of ancient history right in your pocket. Pick it up for $190 via Huckberry.

If you want to own the ultimate ’90s sleeper, look no further. Back in its heyday, this ultra-rare British super-sedan was the fastest production four-door in the world, capable of hitting 175 mph and casually out-accelerating a Ferrari 348. This specific right-hand-drive model is number 913 of 950 ever produced, packing a 3.6L twin-turbo inline-six mated to a Corvette ZR-1 six-speed manual. Finding one stateside is incredibly rare.
