Things We Want: Tecovas Just Released Two Beautiful, Forged-In-The-USA Knives With Bear & Son Cutlery

via Tecovas

Welcome back to Things We Want.

I really don’t have a lot of huge, compelling updates this week. I’m busy, and no one commented on last week’s post so… yeah.

My Memorial Day Weekend was spent deep-cleaning my house and getting it ready for the flock of out-of-towners rolling through Los Angeles for my wedding in a few weeks. I spent the day at the Press Publish Hollywood creator conference talking with other video creators about this whole attention economy thing and all of our various business stakes in the media world, and how to make stuff we love online and get paid for it. Tom Segura was on a panel about his moves in the creator economy, as well as the TBPN guys who just sold to OpenAi for $100 million.

I really enjoyed a thesis they have about internet content: You either have to be timely (of which I’d say we’re very good at here at BroBible) or timeless (of which we’re sorta bad at here at BroBible, but, creatively, I aspire to be good at, which is why I wrote a book… that I’m not sure will ever actually get published… just by writing this I’m manifesting). Colin and Samir were incredible hosts with their programming. Funny enough, those guys used to email us lacrosse clips from when they were in college, and now they are bonafide leaders in the creator/content economy space. It was cool to be on the Fox studios lot! Always wondered what it looked like behind those walls on Pico.

Read: I dropped a new piece over on my Substack about how to write a travel story that doesn’t actually suck. We live in an era where tech bros are calling travel “low-status brain rot” (I know, I hate it too) and people are just traveling to manage the real-time perception of their vacation for the algorithm. I broke down seven pragmatic rules for finding the actual story on your summer trips… like talking to locals, documenting the friction, and leaning heavily into the side quests (like eating Chicago deep dish every day or smoking a backyard brisket). If you’re hitting the road this summer and want to walk away with a bulletproof archive of your life that doesn’t read like “a sanitized Yelp review,” I’d be super stoked if you checked it out and subscribed.

Alright, enough rambling from me. Gear time.

Here is this week’s Things We Want…

Ninja AutoBarista Pro

via Ninja Kitchen

Most of us have no business playing barista, if we’re really being honest with ourselves. We buy fancy beans and then completely butcher the execution because dialing in the grind and water temperature feels like trying to disarm a bomb before we’ve had our morning caffeine. Enter the Ninja AutoBarista Pro. This absolute unit of a machine completely idiot-proofs your morning ritual. It features “Grind iQ” tech that adapts in real-time to your specific beans across 50 grind sizes, making the precision calls that you and I simply aren’t qualified to make.

It doesn’t just do espresso, either. It brews drip and even churns out cold brew in a fraction of the time, skipping the agonizing overnight wait. Plus, the built-in FrothPerfect system handles the microfoam automatically—whether you want it hot, cold, dairy, or plant-based. It’s essentially a high-end, touch-screen cafe tucked onto your kitchen counter.

Orlebar Brown x 007 First Light Collection

via Orlebar Brown

Since we were just talking about 007 First Light last week with that killer Omega watch drop, this feels like a perfect time to mention another massive collaboration surrounding the newly released game. Orlebar Brown, a brand that has essentially perfected the luxury resort wear aesthetic, just dropped a whole capsule collection pulled straight from Bond’s virtual wardrobe.

The centerpiece is a reimagined version of their signature Bulldog tailored swim short, featuring a subtle side stripe inspired by the silk ties from the early Bond films. They’ve also brought a slick printed paisley shirt into the real world, alongside several other polos and sweats designed to outfit the 26-year-old MI6 recruit in his quieter moments between missions. It’s a brilliant blending of digital storytelling and actual, wearable style. The game is officially out now on current-gen consoles and PC, and these pieces are ready to upgrade your summer vacation wardrobe immediately.

2028 Jeep Wrangler Scrambler

Jeep fans have been begging for this for years, and it looks like Stellantis is finally listening. According to the folks over at Car and Driver, Jeep is officially reviving the iconic Scrambler nameplate for a brand new, retro-themed, two-door halo truck that looks absolutely vicious.

This isn’t just a chopped Gladiator. The upcoming Scrambler will break from Wrangler tradition by packing independent front suspension (and possibly rear), which means it’s going to handle high-speed desert runs significantly better than a solid axle ever could. The craziest part? The model they teased was wearing an SRT badge. That likely means this two-door beast is getting the massive 392 Hemi 6.4-liter V-8 stuffed under the hood, pushing out at least 470 horsepower. It pairs classic boxy Wrangler styling with a throwback front end inspired by the Kaiser Jeeps of the 1960s. We’ve got a little while to wait—it’s slated for 2028—but it looks like it’s going to be worth every second.

I have no idea when this thing will actually be released and what it actually looks like, but I appreciate the hype cycle around it.

Nike Air Max 90 “Tiempo”

via Nike

If you need to inject a little life into your summer sneaker rotation, Nike just dropped an absolute heater that bridges the gap between classic streetwear and the golden era of soccer. The Air Max 90 “Tiempo” pulls its energy straight from the iconic 2005 Tiempo cleat—back when the game was played with maximum flair and shameless joy.

They’ve taken that “be cool, win strong” mentality from the original boot and translated it perfectly for everyday wear. The shoes feature distressed black leather with some seriously slick diamond quilting and unexpected hits of Voltage Green. It’s an unconventional, rebellious twist on a classic silhouette that guarantees you’ll stand out against the grain. Grab a pair and bring that creative freedom to the streets this weekend.

Hot Pockets Snack Breaks

New Hot Pockets® Snack Breaks lineup brings bold, bite-sized snack flavors and textures straight from the snack aisle to your freezer

via Hot Pockets®

We are all adults here, hopefully, which means we can admit that sometimes you just want to eat like a teenager left home alone for the weekend. Hot Pockets gets it, and they are dropping a brand new line of “Snack Breaks” designed specifically to satisfy those mid-afternoon cravings or late-night gaming sessions.

They took the classic Hot Pocket architecture—flaky crust, molten core—and shrank it into bite-sized squares. They are dropping five flavors, but the immediate standouts are the Spicy Jalapeño Popper (pretzel crust stuffed with jalapeños and cream cheese) and the Melty Nacho Beef. Just toss them in the air fryer for a few minutes and you’re golden. The Gooey Apple Pie ones are out right now in limited-edition patriotic packaging for the 4th, while the rest of the savory lineup hits freezers nationwide in July.

Ooni Koda 2 Max Gas Pizza Oven

via Ooni

I was just talking to a long-time peer/media operator here in Los Angeles about the epic pizza he makes from scratch at home. Does a 48-hour fermented starter for the dough and everything. His pics were INSPIRING, and made be hungry for quality ‘za.

If you are feeling a little uninspired by standard burgers and hot dogs for your summer cookouts, Ooni just dropped the absolute final boss of backyard pizza ovens. The new Koda 2 Max is a massive 24-inch gas-powered beast. It is so big you can literally cook three 10-inch pizzas at the exact same time, or an entire massive 20-inch New York-style pie.

The coolest part? It has dual independently controlled temperature zones. That means you can be blasting a pizza at 900 degrees on the left side while slowly roasting a cast-iron skillet of steaks or veggies on the right. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth to monitor the ambient temperature and includes digital food probes so you don’t ruin the meat. It’s an absolute game-changer for backyard hosting.

Corridor x Coltrane 100 Capsule Collection

via Corridor

If you know me, you know I love my music history. 2026 marks 100 years since the birth of the legendary jazz composer and saxophonist John Coltrane, and to celebrate the global centennial, independent Brooklyn menswear brand Corridor is dropping a beautiful, limited-edition capsule collection.

The centerpiece is an absolutely stunning intarsia knit sweater honoring A Love Supreme—arguably one of the most culturally significant recordings in jazz history—but the capsule also features some incredibly tasteful graphic tees and hats honoring both John and Alice Coltrane. The whole collection is live and the sweater already sold out, so if you appreciate the intersection of music culture and timeless menswear, you’re going to want to have your wallet ready.
