One Look At Chiefs’ Lineman
In movies or in reality, you never see the cheerleaders lining up at the linemen’s lockers after the game. Being an offensive lineman is a blue-collar, thankless job that almost never allows for a flashy game-altering play. But they as essential as a vital organ. That’s why the Cleveland Browns selected offensive tackle Mitchell Schwartz 37th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Since the Cal alum entered the league, he’s ascended to one of, if not the best offensive tackle in the game. Last year, he held the half-man, half-machine that is Von Miller to zero sacks and just one QB pressure. That type of production granted him a 5-year, $33 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, including a $7 mill signing bonus.
On top of that, he gets to come home to his incredibly attractive fiancee, Brook Squires, a John Carroll University alum. Whoever said lineman don’t get the recognition they’re warranted can take a peek at these pics and get back to me. Sweet baby Jesus.
