So who was that ULTRA-SEXY woman was hanging out half-naked wearing a fur coat on Mad Men’s mid-season premiere? Turns out that woman was none other than modeling legend Andie MacDowell’s oldest daughter 25 year-old Rainey Qualley.
It’s no wonder she was feeling the intense heat from Don Draper’s eyes in the show’s opening sequence. She’s got all kinds of supermodel genes running through her body. Her mom Andie MacDowell is one of the most legendary supermodels of all time having appeared on numerous fashion magazines as well as in ads for Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent and Armani, among others.
MacDowell was also an accomplished actress herself with a lengthy list of credits including Sex, Lies, and Videotape, Groundhog Day and Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Her daughter, Rainey Qualley, is just getting started with her acting career though as this appearance on Mad Men tops her list of credits thus far and was her television acting debut. Though you may have caught her on TV once before, on stage as Miss Golden Globe back in 2012.
Here’s to hoping that this small, but very meaningful appearance on Mad Men leads to many, many more roles for this up-and-comer.
