Okay, so he’s blue. That’s… cool, I guess. I hope he gives a monologue about it. Photographers got behind the scenes for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man sequel and brought back the first shots of Jamie Foxx as Electro, one of the movie’s villains. The big surprise is that he’s blue and veiny. In the comics, Electo (aka Maxwell Dillon) is a bald white guy in a pretty ridiculous costume, so it’s not surprising that they’re not going for a literal interpretation. Of particular note is the row of motion capture dots on Fox’s hoodie, which imply that some additional effects will be added to the character in post-production. Other villains confirmed for the sequel are the Rhino (played by Paul Giamatti) and Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper).
