This List Of Things Banned From The Republican National Convention Contains Some VERY Unusual Items

Naturally, in this day and age, the list of items banned from being brought into the upcoming Republican National Convention is pretty lengthy.

Most of the items make sense. Things like explosives, mace and knives, sure, I get those.

However, there are other things on the list provided by Fox 8 Cleveland, that while I am sure there is solid logic for them being there are still a bit comical to read.

Here are the items that, if I had to guess, are on the list mostly because someone had actually tried to bring them in at some point in the past.

— Lumber larger than 2” in width and 1/4” thick

— Drones and other unmanned aircraft systems

— Any projectile launchers, such as water guns and water cannons

— Any gas mask or similar device designed to filter all air breathed by the wearer

— Tents and other shelters

— Lasers

— Grappling hooks, sledgehammers, hammers, and crowbars

— Canned goods

— Tennis balls

Tennis balls?! That’s got to be because of some previous event.

And here’s my personal favorite…

— Containers of bodily fluids

Yeah, we can probably do without that being there.

All that and yet those with a permit to legally carry a firearm will be able to do so inside the event zone, reports Fox 8. Just don’t be bringing in any air soft pistols or pellet guns, because those they will be confiscating post-haste.
