Ryan Reynolds Reveals Filming For ‘Deadpool 2’ Has Begun With X-Mansion Pic

There are 347 days until “Deadpool 2,” so with less than a year until the sequel of the incredibly successful X-Men spinoff, Ryan Reynolds has assured fans that he is filming for the upcoming film. Reynolds shared a photo from the set of “Deadpool” sequel where the Merc with a Mouth was at a familiar locale… the X-Mansion. The pic from the iconic X-Men mansion was shared on Reynold’s Twitter and Instagram with delightful captions that you would expect from the Deadpool actor.

On Twitter, Reynolds posted the photo with the caption: “Dropped by the X-Mansion. Big fucking surprise. No one’s home.”

On Instagram, Reynolds had a more scat-oriented caption for the pic: “Dropped by X-Mansion. Looked closely for Beast’s lawn bombs before taking well deserved nap.”

The X-Men Mansion is actually called the Hatley Castle and is located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The X-Mansion was seen in the original “Deadpool” movie as well as 2003’s “X2: X-Men: United,” and 2006’s “X-Men: The Last Stand.” There was reports that a yellow cab, similar to Dopinder’s in “Deadpool,” was spotted on the “Deadpool 2” set at Hatley Castle.

“Deadpool 2” is being directed by David Leitch, who directed the original “Deadpool” as well as “John Wick.” The “Deadppol” sequel will also star Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers AKA Cable. The 49-year-old Brolin is already in crazy shape to face off against Deadpool. Zazie Beets will play Domino.
