Aside from a few standout performances, Week 10 was not a strong on for quarterback play around the league. Without further ado, here are all 32 projected starters, as well as quarterbacks on a Bye Week, for Week 11 ranked worst to first.
32. Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Cooper Rush

Last Week: 13/23, 56.5%, 45 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 35/62, 56.5%, 212 yds, 1 TD / 1 INT
There’s no positive spin to put on a performance that saw 23 passing attempts turned into 45 yards. That is a bottom-of-the-barrel performance, and Rush gets a bottom-of-the-barrel ranking.
31. Jacksonville Jaguars Quarterback Mac Jones

Last Week: 14/22, 63.6%, 111 yds, 0 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 20/31, 64.5%, 139 yds, 0 TD / 2 INT
Only Cooper Rush’s all-time clunker saved Mac Jones from the bottom spot. He’s filling in for Trevor Lawrence, possibly for the rest of the season. His first start in Jacksonville didn’t convince anyone that a team should take a chance on the former first-round pick as a bridge starter next year.
30. New York Giants Quarterback Daniel Jones

Last Week: 22/37, 59.5%, 190 yds, 0 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 216/341, 63.3%, 2070 yds, 8 TD / 7 INT
Watching Daniel Jones week-in and week-out is a chore. Giants fans have had to do it for too long. As of press time, they hadn’t announced a benching for Drew Lock, but it could be coming. Part of me hopes they don’t bench him, as general manager Joe Schoen and owner John Mara should have to watch their $160 million mistake the rest of the season.
29. Tennessee Titans Quarterback Will Levis

Getty Image / Harry How
Last Week: 18/23, 78.3%, 175 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 101/148, 68.2%, 874 yds, 7 TD / 7 INT
Prior to injuring his shoulder, Will Levis was costing the Titans week after week with truly inexplicable interceptions. While the team was unable to get a win against the Chargers, Levis showed some improvement. He took care of the football, and was pretty accurate. Don’t get too excited, Titans fans. But, progress is progress.
28. Las Vegas Raiders Quarterback Gardner Minshew

Getty Image / Andy Lyons
Last Week: Bye
Season Stats: 148/221, 67.0%, 1501 yds, 6 TD / 8 INT
The Raiders and their journeyman quarterback had a Bye Week in Week 10. Minshew will look to return to the form he showed in 2023 with the Colts.
27. Carolina Panthers Quarterback Bryce Young

Getty Image / Mario Hommes
Last Week: 15/25, 60.0%, 126 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 92/153, 60.1%, 820 yds, 4 TD / 6 INT
Don’t let the mediocre stat line fool you. Bryce Young is showing serious improvement. For the first time in his NFL career, he looks comfortable on the field. He’s moving in the pocket well, anticipating throws, and throwing accurately and decisively. If not for some crucial drops, his stat line would have looked much better than it did. Cautious optimism is the name of the game in Charlotte.
26. New England Patriots Quarterback Drake Maye

Getty Image / Quinn Harris
Last Week: 15/25, 60.0%, 184 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 97/150, 64.7%, 954 yds, 7 TD / 5 INT
Maye has been a bit of a gunslinger of late, and is making some pretty bad mistakes. But, the good continues to outweigh the bad for the 22-year-old. Maye flashes all of the traits you want out of a quarterback every week. The consistency will come, and I think the Patriots have their long-term answer at the position.
25. Cleveland Browns Quarterback Jameis Winston

Getty Image / Jason Miller
Last Week: Bye
Season Stats: 59/99, 59.6%, 652 yds, 5 TD / 3 INT
Jameis Winston and the Browns were on their Bye Week. He will get back to thrilling audiences, for better or worse, in Week 11.
24. Chicago Bears Quarterback Caleb Williams

Getty Image / Michael Reaves
Last Week: 16/30, 53.3%, 120 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 178/294, 60.5%, 1785 yds, 9 TD / 5 INT
Caleb Williams was set up to fail when the team hired Shane Waldron as offensive coordinator before the season. And, lately, he has been failing. Williams looks completely lost, the scheme is terrible, and the Bears offense is a disaster. Waldron was fired on Tuesday, and I’m betting that Caleb Williams starts to look better.
23. Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Joe Flacco

Getty Image / Andy Lyons
Last Week: 26/35, 74.3%, 272 yds, 2 TD, 3 INT
Season Stats: 113/170, 66.5%, 1167 yds, 9 TD / 5 INT
Flacco looked much better filling in for Anthony Richardson earlier in the season than he has the last two weeks. He need to start taking care of the ball, as turnovers are killing the Colts offense. Still, he’s a solid upgrade over Anthony Richardson in the passing game.
22. New York Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers

Getty Image / Chris Coduto
Last Week: 22/35, 62.9%, 151 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 219/351, 62.4%, 2258 yds, 15 TD / 7 INT
Aaron Rodgers looks old and slow on a weekly basis. The Jets don’t have the offensive line to make up for his lack of agility at this stage in his career. That’s leading to a lot of sacks or high-percentage throws close to the line of scrimmage. That’s not a recipe for success.
21. New Orleans Saints Quarterback Derek Carr

Getty Image / Derek Carr
Last Week: 16/25, 64.0%, 269 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 124/184, 67.4%, 1494 yds, 11 TD / 4 INT
A week after multiple Carr passes put teammates in harm’s way, he returned to the form he showed early this season when the team got out to a 2-0 start. Carr is what he is at this point, an average starter that probably can’t elevate a team, but is significantly better than a bottom-of-the-league starter.
20. Denver Broncos Quarterback Bo Nix

Getty Image / David Eulitt
Last Week: 22/30, 73.3%, 215 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 206/324, 63.6%, 1968 yds, 10 TD / 6 INT
The good performances for Bo Nix are starting to be more frequent than the mediocre ones. He’s taking to Sean Payton’s offense very well, and maybe Sean Payton was right about him all along. Nix looked poised and comfortable against one of the league’s best defenses in the Kansas City Chiefs. Nix made the plays to put the Broncos in position to win the game until a special teams debaclce lost it for them. that’s all you can ask for from a rooke quarterback.
19. Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Geno Smith

Getty Image / Steph Chambers
Last Week: Bye
Season Stats: 233/342, 68.1%, 2560 yds, 11 TD / 10 INT
Geno Smith will be looking for more consistency and ball security coming off of the Bye Week.
18. Miami Dolphins Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa

Getty Image / Tua Tagovailoa
Last Week: 20/28, 71.4%, 207 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 113/156, 72.4%, 1155 yds, 6 TD / 4 INT
Tua has played three solid games since returning from his scary week 2 concussion. But, Sunday’s win over the Rams may have been his worst showing out of the three. Tagovailoa finished with one interception, but it very well could have been a few more. Plus, he took some bad sacks and wasn’t sharp in the pocket. That being said, he’s a huge upgrade over the cast of characters the Dolphins used in his absence.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Russell Wilson

Getty Image / Scott Taetsch
Last Week: 14/28, 50.0%, 195 yds, 3 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 50/85, 58.8%, 737 yds, 6 TD / 1 INT
Wilson has undoubtedly elevated the Steelers’ offense with his ability to throw down the field. He will need to be a bit more efficient and accurate to move up on this list any further.
16. Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love

Getty Image / Stacy Revere
Last Week: Bye
Season Stats: 147/240, 61.3%, 1820 yds, 15 TD / 10 INT
The highs have been high and the lows have been low for Jordan Love so far this season. he will be looking to eliminate some of the truly head-scratching turnovers he’s had this year coming out of the Bye Week.
15. Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Sam Darnold

Getty Image / Mike Carlson
Last Week: 24/38, 63.2%, 241 yds, 0 TD, 3 INT
Season Stats: 179/261, 68.6%, 2141 yds, 17 TD / 10 INT
After a start to the season that saw Sam Darnold do a great job of taking care of the ball, the interceptions are starting to creep in. The big question now is whether head coach and quarterback whisperer Kevin O’Connell can rein those interceptions, or if Darnold is showing some real regression.
14. Houston Texans Quarterback CJ Stroud

Getty Image / Alex Slitz
Last Week: 19/33, 57.6%, 232 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 207/329, 62.9%, 2371 yds, 12 TD / 6 INT
Much of the struggles are due to injuries on the offensive line and in his receiving corps. But, putting both of those things aside, CJ Stroud does not look near as good as he did last year. Both interceptions against the Lions were truly head-scratchers and were probably the difference in the game. It’s fair to say that CJ Stroud is experiencing a bit of a sophomore slump right now.
13. Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Kirk Cousins

Getty Image / Ella Hall
Last Week: 23/38, 60.5%, 306 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 227/333, 68.2%, 2634 yds, 17 TD / 8 INT
The stats look a bit better than the performance, as Kirk Cousins was not quite as sharp as he had been in recent weeks. Ultimately, this team is going to go as far as Cousins takes them. That could be pretty far, or it could be a one-and-done esxit in the playoffs.
12. San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Brock Purdy

Getty Image / Max Ehrmann
Last Week: 25/36, 69.4%, 353 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 181/278, 65.1%, 2454 yds, 12 TD / 7 INT
It’s no coincidence that Christian McCaffrey returned and Brock Purdy had arguably his best game of the season. McCaffrey opens that offense up, and Purdy took advantage. He finally had a signature game-winning drive this season, something he had opportunities to accomplish earlier in the season and failed at.
11. Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford

Getty Image / Ronald Martinez
Last Week: 32/46, 69.6%, 293 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 214/322, 66.5%, 2262 yds, 9 TD / 7 INT
Stafford was not sharp at all against the Miami Dolphins. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly why that is, but it certainly wasn’t a vintage Stafford performance. With his full complement of weapons back in the lineup, there are no more excuses in Los Angeles.
10. Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts

Getty Image / Cooper Neill
Last Week: 14/20, 70.0%, 202 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Season Stats: 164/235, 69.8%, 1976 yds, 12 TD / 5 INT
Hurts struggled at times against the Cowboys. But, that can be attributed to the terrible glare that Jerry Jones refuses to fix at AT&T Stadium. He’s playing solid football since the change in offensive philosophy for the Eagles.
9. Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Kyler Murray

Getty Image / Chris Coduto
Last Week: 22/24, 91.7%, 266 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 191/276, 69.2%, 2058 yds, 12 TD / 3 INT
Lamar Jackson is probably too far ahead for it to matter, but Kyler Murray is getting some much-deserved MVP candidate buzz. His best game this year was on Sunday. He shredded the Jets defense with both his arms and his legs. When the Cardinals made him the first-overall pick in 2019, this is the player they envisioned him turning into.
8. Los Angeles Chargers Quarterback Justin Herbert

Getty Image / Michael Owens
Last Week: 14/18, 77.8%, 164 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 159/241, 66.0%, 1889 yds, 11 TD / 1 INT
Justin Herbert has shown in the past that he can put up prolific stats as the focal point of an offense. That’s not necessarily the case this year. But, that doesn’t mean that what Herbert is doing isn’t impressive. He’s doing a fantastic job of doing exactly what he’s being asked to to do, and one interception in 241 attempts is a winning formula.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback Baker Mayfield

Getty Image / Kevin Sabitus
Last Week: 18/29, 62.1%, 116 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 243/344, 70.6%, 2505 yds, 24 TD / 9 INT
It was far from his most impressive game this season statistically. But, Mayfield’s ill-fated, game-tying drive was his best drive of the year. Mayfield put the Bucs on his back, only for the defense to let him down. He’s playing the best football of his career right now, even if the team’s record isn’t showing it.
6. Washington Commanders Quarterback Jayden Daniels

Getty Image / Patrick Smith
Last Week: 17/34, 50.0%, 202 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 180/262, 68.7%, 2147 yds, 9 TD / 2 INT
A 50% completion percentage is the headliner, and it’s one of the first times in his career that Jayden Daniels truly struggled. But, he stood in there against a fantastic pass rush, and there’s no cause for concerns here. Daniels continues to be one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks.
5. Detroit Lions Quarterback Jared Goff

Getty Image / Alex Slitz
Last Week: 15/30, 50.0%, 240 yds, 2 TD, 5 INT
Season Stats: 173/241, 71.8%, 2080 yds, 16 TD / 9 INT
It’s hard to sugarcoat a five-interception game, and a few of them were really bad. But, one was a Hail Mary, and others were tipped balls. That being said, as well as Goff had been playing the last month, it was still a jarring performance. He got it together just in time to lead the Lions back from a 16-point halftime deficit.
4. Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes

Getty Image / David Eulitt
Last Week: 28/42, 66.7%, 266 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 216/311, 69.5%, 2208 yds, 12 TD / 9 INT
The red zone efficiency needs to improve, as it continues to be a big issue. But, after throwing at least one interception in each of the team’s first seven games, Mahomes has gone nearly 100 passes without one now. He and this Chiefs offense are heating up. They just need to figure out things in the red zone.
3. Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen

Getty Image / Andy Lyons
Last Week: 22/37, 59.5%, 280 yds, 0 TD, 2 INT
Season Stats: 190/299, 63.5%, 2281 yds, 17 TD / 4 INT
The turnovers are starting to creep back into Josh Allen’s game. But, he makes so many plays and carries so much on his shoulders for the Bills offense that you’re going to tolerate them. A huge test against a great Chiefs defense awaits. An outstanding performance could vault him towards the top of the MVP racec.
2. Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow

Last Week: 34/56, 60.7%, 428 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 246/358, 68.7%, 2672 yds, 24 TD / 4 INT
How many quarterbacks in NFL history have throw a more catchable ball than Joe Burrow? I’d argue the number could fit on one hand. Burrow is at the absolute top of his game right now. He’s the most accurate passer from the pocket down the field in the league. His pocket movement is sensational. The Bengals are 4-6, but Burrow is an absolute joy to watch.
1. Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson

Getty Image / Scott Taetsch
Last Week: 25/33, 75.8%, 290 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT
Season Stats: 199/288, 69.1%, 2669 yds, 24 TD / 2 INT
The Steelers have long been Lamar Jackson’s bugaboo, and he faces a big test against them this weekend. So far, he’s the runaway MVP and is having one of the great seasons in NFL history. His playmaking is approach an unseen level, and he’s never been more efficient in the pocket. Lamar Jackson is the most unstoppable player in the league, and I don’t think it’s particularly close.
