The San Francisco 49ers are signing former Chicago Bears second-round pick, wide receiver Anthony Miller, according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz.

The signing marks Miller’s fourth stint with an NFL team since the 28-year old entered the league in 2018.

Anthony Miller’s career trajectory has seen its fair share of twists and turns.

In 2021, he was part of a trade that sent him from the Bears to the Houston Texans, accompanied by a 2022 seventh-round draft pick. This move was made in exchange for a 2022 fifth-round pick. However, Miller’s tenure with the Texans was short-lived, leading to his release.

Following his departure from the Texans, Miller found himself donning the black and gold of the Pittsburgh Steelers, another he was released again.

Now, in 2023, the wide receiver is set to join the 49ers, adding depth and versatility to their receiving corps.

Early in his career Anthony Miller has displayed promise and potential on the field.

Over his career, he has caught an impressive 140 passes, accumulating 1,589 receiving yards and scoring 12 touchdowns.
