Challenging Travis Kelce to a vaccine debate isn’t the only thing that Aaron Rodgers had to say during his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, as he also chimed in on the Green Bay Packers’ offensive struggles.

Following the Packers’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night, in which Green Bay scored just 13 points, Rodgers spoke on the team’s play calling in the redzone and took a subtle shot at his former head coach Matt LaFleur.

“There’s things about the offense that I know because I ran a similar offense there, so I have an idea about what they’re trying to do. I felt like, kind of like in our game, there were times in the red zone where they weren’t maybe as aggressive as they should have been,” Rodgers said earlier this week while appearing on The Pat McAfee Show.

So far, in Jordan Love’s first season as the team’s starting quarterback, the Packers are 2-3 and have scored more than 25 points just once this season, against the Chicago Bears.

As for Rodgers, he’s been sidelined since the first minute of the season, as he tore his Achilles just four plays into his New York Jets career. Rodgers didn’t even get to complete an official regular season pass as a member of the Jets before the injury occurred.

Despite the injury usually taking a year to recover from, Rodgers has been teasing that he intends to return this season. If Rodgers does plan to play again this season, however, Gang Green is going to need to string some wins together in order to give the 39-year-old something worth returning to.

After their win against Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos over the weekend, the Jets now sit at 2-3, with a matchup against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles coming up on Sunday.
