Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles injury has seemingly reverted him back to who he was before he started pretending to be the New York Jets savior, as the 39-year-old quarterback has found himself engaged in a war of words with Travis Kelce over vaccines.

Rodgers — who called Kelce “Mr. Pfizer” due to his commercials for the company despite the fact that he is paid for a team that’s owned by a vaccine tycoon — doubled down on his comments on his Tuesday appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

Clearly annoyed by Kelce’s response to his original shot, Rodgers challenged the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to a debate.

“Listen, Mr. Pfizer said he didn’t think he’d be in a vax war with me. This ain’t a war, homey, this is just conversation.” Rodgers begins.

“But if you want to have some sort of duel, debate — come on the show. Let’s have a conversation. Let’s do it like in John Wick 4, right? So we both have a second, so somebody to help us out. I’m going to take my man RFK Jr. to help me out. And he can have Tony Fauci or another pharmacrat [sic]. And we can have a conversation about this.”

It’s certainly interesting to see Rodgers take continued unprovoked shots at Kelce. Perhaps Rodgers is jealous of Kelce’s relationship with Swift, as he made sure to let everyone know that he went to two of her concerts at MetLife Stadium over the summer.

While Rodgers rehabs the torn Achilles that was fixed by traditional doctors and modern science, he’ll have to hope that the Jets — who sit at 2-3 after Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos — can remain competitive long enough for him to return from the injury, which he claims he’ll attempt to do this season.

As for Kelce and the Chiefs, they’ll look to be the first team to be repeat Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots pulled it off 20 years ago.
