Want. Now. Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ Golf Shoes Reportedly Being Released In February

When the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” was re-released in December of 2018, it was widely considered by sneakerheads to be the return of the “holy grail” of sneakers.

Originally released in 2011, the AJ XI, designed by Tinker Hatfield, is often referred to as one of the greatest Jordans of all time, if not the greatest sneaker of all time.

The 2018 editions of the “tuxedo for your feet” were snapped up in record numbers, with reports that it surpassed the 2016 Air Jordan “Space Jams” as the highest grossing release in Nike history.

Now comes word that the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” is about to be released as a golf shoe, reports SneakerNews.com.

We first saw a version of this nearly two years ago with Jordan athlete Dez Bryant flashed a pair on his Instagram, but these newly revealed photos confirm that this insanely popular silhouette will be made available for a full 18 holes. Aside from the spiked soles, the most notable alterations are the leather uppers (opposed to the ballistic nylon in the basketball version) and the tinted nature of the translucent outsole which features the signature icy blue with a brighter green tone.

Golf.com reports…

The latest edition of Jordans will feature Nike’s React Vapor tooling, which, according to the brand, uses Nike React foam cushioning to deliver all-day comfort on the course.

A limited quantity of Concords will be available beginning February 15, and they’ll sell for $220 per pair.

They also add that “you can expect demand to be high.”

No kidding.

Get ’em here when they come out. If you can.
