LSU women’s basketball has not lost a game without Angel Reese. The Tigers continue to roll!

It is unclear as to why Reese is absent from the program. However, the general understanding seems to be that she is currently suspended for a lack of focus and lackadaisical play.

There is also a theory that her sabbatical might stem from academics.

Teammate Flau’jae Johnson’s mom, through serious beef with Reese’s mother, accused the First Team All-American of carrying a truly awful Grade Point Average. Reese later issued a blunt warning about all of the rumors floating around online.

Even though it would be very easy to clear things up, head coach Kim Mulkey refuses to do so. She got into a feisty exchange with a reporter before LSU’s trip to the Cayman Islands. The team refers back to Mulkey when asked for clarification on the ongoing saga.

Angel Reese is not with the team.

That is all we know right now. She did not travel to George Town for the Cayman Islands Classic.

Her team won both games without her. The seventh-ranked reigning national champions stomped Niagra in their first of two games.

Everybody had a night!

LSU won 99-65.

The Tigers played to a much closer win on Saturday. A solid Virginia team kept things close throughout all four quarters but ultimately lost by three.

Morrow was the star for LSU. She did not come out of the game.

The former DePaul star finished with 37 points and 16 rebounds.

Van Lith, Johnson and Williams did the rest! The first two played no less than 37 minutes each in the 76-73 win.

LSU will return home to Baton Rouge at 7-1 for a massive game against ninth-ranked Virginia Tech. The Hokies lost to the Bayou Bengals by seven in the Final Four last March.

Will Angel Reese return for the rematch?! We shall see.

Mulkey’s team continues to win without her.
