Anthony Kim makes his long-awaited return to professional golf this weekend in Saudi Arabia after signing a deal with LIV Golf. The former phenom has been out of the game for more than a decade following a string of injuries.

AK signed with LIV earlier this week, with Greg Norman confirming that the league would repay a $10M insurance policy received upon that prior retirement, allowing the golfer back onto the links in a professional setting.

With the paperwork wrapped up, Kim is set to make his debut at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Jeddah on Friday though viewers got to grab an early look ahead of the event.

Kim teed off in the Pro-Am on Thursday, rocking a t-shirt, shorts, and sunglasses.

Always flashy, even when on the PGA Tour, he’s likely to take things to the next level given LIV’s more lax tournament dress code.

He donned a similar getup in an earlier practice round, sparking an online response from influencer Paige Spiranac, who believes everyone should have the option to choose comfort on the course.

It’s only added to fans’ anticipation of seeing Kim tee it back up. Unfortunately, it appears there’s some rust that still needs to be shaken off.

Anthony Kim asked for a mulligan on his first shot.

The golfer didn’t like his opening shot from the first tee box, leading to a joke about a do-over.

“Can I get a mulligan?” Kim asked after seeing where his ball wound up.

Ten years out of the game will do that to you.

The rough start won’t take any eyes away from Kim’s LIV debut, with many rooting for a triumphant return in Saudi Arabia.
