Antonio Brown Tells Fans What It Would Take In Order To Get Him Back In The NFL

As far as anybody knows, Antonio Brown is still holed up in his house in Tampa while police wait outside to arrest him when he leaves.

So Brown has a good bit of time on his hands.

The former star NFL wide receiver is now going on two weeks locked in his house while evading arrest charges on a misdemeanor warrant.

According to Amy Dash, police are unable to arrest Antonio Brown due to the type of warrant they have. “The arrest warrant police possess is not a search warrant so they say they have no authority to enter Brown’s private property. Unless the police feel he is a danger to himself or others, police won’t try to enter.”

Controversy is nothing new for Brown. In fact, it’s more of a feature than a bug these days. Brown because a superstar while playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He made seven Pro Bowls and four consecutive first-team All-Pro teams from 2014-17. But things went downhill from there.

The Central Michigan product was traded to the then-Oakland Raiders in 2019 but never played a game for the Raiders before being released. The New England Patriots then signed him, but he played just one game.

Brown won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 after signing mid-way through the season. It appeared Tampa would be a long-term home until Brown quit the team, and the NFL, mid-way through a game against the New York Jets.

He’s now more than a year removed from his last NFL game. Fans are wondering if they’ll ever see him play again, and now we have an answer.

With Brown essentially cornered in his house, he has plenty of time for social media. One fan wondered if he’d be willing to make yet another NFL comeback.

It appears that’s out of the question.

“HoF (Hall of Fame) only,” was his response.

Brown’s resume is that of a Hall of Fame wideout. But given how long it took Terrell Owens to get in, Brown could be waiting a loooooonnnng time to get that call.

Hopefully he’s got plenty of snacks at home.
