Arch Manning has a very, very busy week. The No. 1 overall prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2023, who might the most sought-after quarterback prospect of all-time, has quite a few coaches coming to visit him over the next few days.

However, his string of visits began on Monday.

Manning, who stands 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, hoops for his high school in the offseason and can’t stop dropping sick no-look dimes. Isidore Newman played a home game on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and two important suitors were in attendance.

Ole Miss hired 28-year-old Charlie Weis Jr. as its new offensive coordinator on December 29th and the newest member of the Rebels’ offensive coaching staff visited Newman last week. He stopped by Newman again on Monday night and checked out his hopeful future signal-caller on the hardwood.

Of the other suitors in attendance, Georgia pulled up four deep.

After winning the College Football Playoff national championship a week prior, head coach Kirby Smart led the charge. Offensive line coach Matt Luke (who has a relationship with Manning from his time at Ole Miss), offensive coordinator Todd Monken, and offensive analyst Buster Faulkner were also in the gym.

Although Newman lost the game, Manning looked athletic.

After the visit, the Greenies’ head football coach Nelson Stewart had encouraging words about Smart and Georgia. He spoke with 247Sports and had the following to say:

“He’s always energetic. Real authentic, talked about their season and Arch. It’s a great group. You can see how well they get along and it was nice to see the whole staff at the game. Kirby he’s great. I joked with him that my wife said I need to drink Red Bull or whatever he drinks to get that energy he had during the Nationally Championship. He’s obviously awfully excited and we had great conversation.”

In addition to Weis Jr. and the Bulldogs staff, Manning has quite a few visitors lined up this week. Prior to this stretch of visits, Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding and Tulane head coach Willie Fritz have recently made the trip to New Orleans.
