Arch Manning has 379 days to make his decision on where to go to college. As the year mark quickly approaches, his recruitment is starting to heat up once again.

During the fall, Manning visited Alabama, Clemson, Ole Miss, Georgia and Texas twice. He also received multiple visits in New Orleans from each of those programs.

Although he is not set to make his next wave of visits until the spring after basketball season, multiple coaching staffs are set to visit Manning in the coming weeks. He is currently hooping for Isidore Newman and will have quite a few important people stopping by over the course of this week.

The revolving door of visiting staffs began during the Greenies’ game on Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a four-deep Georgia staff in attendance, as well as Ole Miss’ new offensive coordinator. That was just the start.

According to Newman’s head football coach Nelson Stewart, Manning is set to have a busy week.

Here is the schedule of coaches heading to New Orleans:

  • Monday —
  • Tuesday —
    • Florida’s new head coach Billy Napier
  • Friday —
    • Alabama head coach Nick Saban
  • TBD —
    • Oklahoma offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby
    • LSU offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock and assistant Brian Polian
    • Florida State RBs coach/recruiting coordinator Dave Johnson
    • Texas QBs coach A.J. Milwee
    • Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen

Per the NCAA’s Division I Bowl Subdivision football recruiting calendar, the current recruiting contact period is open from January 13th to January 30th. At that point, it enters a a dead period from January 31st to February 28th and then a quiet period from March 1st to April 14th.

As a result, college football programs and their coaches are trying to squeeze in as many visits as possible with 2022 targets set to commit on National Signing Day, as well as 2023 recruits set to commit a year from now. The grind never stops and Manning’s calendar is filling up quickly, especially this week.
