Argentina continues to be accused of getting a favorable whistle throughout the World Cup.

Just last week, the Egyptian national team filed a complaint against FIFA, accusing the organization of biased refereeing in favor of Argentina.

“The Egyptian Football Association cannot remain silent regarding the refereeing decisions witnessed during the match against Argentina, as well as the failure to make appropriate use of the Video Assistant Referee [VAR] system,

FIFA chief refereeing officer Pierluigi Collina denied all allegations of bias towards Argentina.

“Of course, constructive discussion about decisions will always be part of football, but unfounded allegations have no place in our sport,” Collina bit back.

“Nobody can question the integrity of the FIFA World Cup match officials. When this happens, it may provoke reactions that lead to threats against them and their families. This is not right.

“Equally, nobody can claim that FIFA Refereeing can be influenced by anyone, not even by the FIFA President [Gianni Infantino]. He has always shown his full support for FIFA Team One while trusting us to work with complete independence. Match officials make honest decisions and, just like players and coaches, they always try to do their best.”

On Wednesday, Argentina knocked England out of the World Cup, but English fans were unhappy with the refereeing.

In one video, Messi was seen tackling Jude Bellingham to the ground without receiving a yellow card.

One fan made a five-minute compilation video of Argentina’s non-stop fouling of England throughout the game.

It seems like fans will continue to accuse Argentina of being dirty as they keep winning.
