A judge in North Carolina has issued an arrest warrant for Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jen. She is the wife of Steve Belichick, a University of North Carolina football assistant coach and Bill’s son.

According to court records, on Monday, July 13, a judge issued a warrant for the arrest of Jen Belichick. Jen was involved in a traffic stop on May 21 by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

A North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper stopped her and gave her a misdemeanor speeding ticket after catching her allegedly driving a Jeep at 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County.

Due to her alleged speed, Jen Belichick was required to appear before a Brunswick County judge on Friday. She reportedly did not show, and the judge subsequently issued an arrest warrant. As of Tuesday morning, July 14, USA Today reports that authorities had yet to serve the arrest order.

She now has three options to settle the matter, a court official told the New York Post. She can turn herself in to the police, engage an attorney to handle the case, or file a motion to recall the order.

According to the media outlet’s review of court documents, Jen Belichick had no attorney listed, and she did not answer a request for comment.

Jen Belichick previously made news for a rant directed at Jordan Hudson, the controversial girlfriend of her father, Bill Belichick, calling her “bats— crazy.” She also previously made headlines after criticizing Hudson’s infamous interruption of Bill Belichick’s interview with CBS Sunday Morning.
