Baker Mayfield Mocked For Looking Like The Most Out Of Shape Person In Photo With Other NFL Players

Baker Mayfield, much like Mitchell Trubisky for the Bears, had a bit of a rough sophomore season in the NFL.

After being named the Pro Football Writers of America Rookie of the Year following his stellar debut season, Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns were expected to do big things in 2019.

Unfortunately, the 2017 Heisman Trophy winner threw 21 interceptions and the Browns, who many had favored to win the AFC East, finished 6-10 and ended up firing head coach Freddie Kitchens after just one season and general manager John Dorsey after just two.

Mayfield admitted this week down in Miami, “Let’s just be honest, I put my foot in my mouth a lot this [season],” Mayfield said. “I have to be me, but I don’t need to reply to the stuff on the outside,” adding, “I’ve never turned the ball over so many times,” Mayfield said. “You can’t win like that. That falls back on me.”

But that’s not why we’re here today.

We’re here today because someone on Twitter shared a photo of Mayfield and four other NFL players hanging out shirtless and the Browns QB looks like a guy who just happened to wander into the photo as it was snapped and not a professional athlete making an average of $8,170,745 a year.

Naturally, because the 24-year-old quarterback is a lightning rod for controversy and criticism (most of it of his own doing), fans who viewed the photo took much pleasure in mocking Mayfield.
