It has become a time-honored tradition for New York Knicks fans. Year after year they wait for their team’s management to make a trade that will finally lift them out of misery. Year after year James Dolan disappoints them.
Last year, they were able to overcome their lack of help from the front office and earn themselves a spot in the playoffs with home court advantage in the first round. As they were fighting for that spot, Knicks fans hoped for a big move at the deadline to make them a contender. They got Derrick Rose and were crushed by the Hawks in Round 1.
This year, they’ve gone back to their usual disappointing selves. The Knicks are currently in 12th place in the Eastern Conference and 7 games under .500. As the trade deadline approached, fans begged for the Knicks to make a move to fix the team. No move ever came.
No deals for Knicks, source tells ESPN.
