Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered an injury during a Training Camp practice today.

According to reports from the Enquirer’s Kelesey Conway, Burrow went down grabbing his calf and had to be carted off the field.

Observers on the scene suggest it appears to be a right leg injury, though the exact nature and severity of the injury have not been confirmed at this time.

The timing couldn’t be worse for Burrow, as the injury comes amid discussions about a potential new contract with the Bengals during the offseason.

It appears to be a non-contact injury.

Joe Burrow had been in negotiations for an extension to secure his future with the team, but this unforeseen setback may possibly complicate matters.

As of now, the Bengals organization has not released an official statement regarding the extent of Burrow’s injury or how it may impact his availability for future games.

It’s been a tough day with injuries as notable players such as Jets Garrett Wilson and Dolphins Jalen Ramsey also left to the locker rooms mid-practice.

Burrow’s performance last season showed his immense talent, and he was poised to be a key player for the Bengals in their pursuit of success this year.

The team will undoubtedly be monitoring his recovery closely and providing the necessary support during this challenging time.
