New York Jets‘ star wide receiver, Garrett Wilson, suffered an apparent ankle injury during Training Camp practice which forced him to limp off the practice field.

The incident occurred Thursday and has left fans and the team concerned about his well-being.

Garrett Wilson, who was the Jets’ first-round pick and the 10th overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, had an outstanding rookie season last year.

He managed to secure the prestigious NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors with an impressive stat line, amassing 83 receptions for 1,103 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The extent of Wilson’s current injury is yet to be officially confirmed by the team’s medical staff.

After the incident, he was taken to the locker room for further evaluation and treatment.

Video of the incident is attached, which captures the moment Wilson limped off the field after the unfortunate injury.

The loss of Wilson, if his injury turns out to be significant, which is not yet known, could be a major setback for the Jets’ offense.

It’s been a tough day with injuries as notable players such as Dolphins Jalen Ramsey and Bengals Joe Burrow also left to the locker rooms mid-practice.
